The VAC-5 abrasive recovery system is an electrically powered vacuum suction unit with an integrated high-performance cartridge filter comprising pulse-jet cleaning, an abrasive storage silo (mounted directly on the Contracor Z-200 series blast machine) for automatically refilling the blast machine and a floor hopper, complete with suction hoses and a grating.

APPLICATION

The VAC-5 abrasive recovery system is specially designed for recovering and recycling used abrasive.

The vacuum suction unit is used to intake abrasive via an abrasive storage silo, separating out any dust to clean the abrasive. The abrasive storage silo is mounted directly above the Contracor Z-200 blast machine. The drawn-in abrasive falls into the blast machine and can be immediately reused. The system allows the recovery of up to 4 tonnes of abrasive per hour at a distance of up to 10 metres from the blast machine.

The VAC-5 abrasive recovery system also allows blasting chambers to be designed flexibly and cost-effectively.
